Obituary for Barbara Ann Wylie

Barbara Ann Wylie, 72, of Midwest City, died August 22, 2017 at her residence. She was born April 9, 1945 in Bragg City, Missouri to Bob and Katherine Brandon.

She was a faithful member of the Ridgecrest Church of Christ where she taught children’s bible class and worked with the Wiz Kids program.

Barbara’s two great loves were her faith and her family. She often spoke of her deep love and dedication to both. She was a kind-hearted servant who always reached out to anyone in need. She enjoyed cooking for her family, painting, sewing, gardening and spoiling her grandkids.
Barbara was a tender, loving, and caring mother, sister, and friend, who is loved deeply and will be greatly missed.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, and 3 brothers, Bobby, Billy, and Terry Brandon.

She is survived by sons, Michael and wife Shaelyn West of Oklahoma City, and Rick West of Midwest City; 7 grandchildren, Kristopher, Kasey, Kyle, Brooklynn, Britney, Ashley, and Michael; 5 great-grandchildren, Addisen, Aiden K, Brantley, Aiden Lee, and Kaleb; 3 brothers, Johnny, Harold and Richard Brandon; and 2 sisters, Glenda Forbs and Sheila Haun.
