Obituary for Charles Franklin Chasteen

Pastor Charles F. Chasteen, 82, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, went to be with the Lord August 29, 2018. He was born October 30, 1935 in Duncan, Oklahoma, the son of late James F. and Mattie E. Chasteen.

Charles spent 30 years of his life managing in the industrial distribution industry and served his last 25 years as pastor, along with his wife, of the Outreach Prayer Center in Midwest City, OK.

Charles is survived by his wife of 62, Frances Chasteen; his son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Jamie Chasteen of Oklahoma City, OK; son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Carla Chasteen of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, Breanna and Blake Honeycutt of Oklahoma City, OK; Melissa and Dan Kucab of Oklahoma City, OK; Evan and Grace Chasteen of Roswell, GA; great grandchildren, Lainey Honeycutt, Owen Honeycutt, Carly Kucab, and Abby Kucab; and his sibling, Lillie Shuey of Whiteboro, TX.
Pastor Chasteen was preceded in death by his brothers, Arnold Chasteen, Thurman Chasteen, Alvie Chasteen; sisters, Zelma Chasteen, Velma Ensminger, Melba Roberts, Lois Bussey, of Whitesboro, TX.

A service to celebrate Charles’ life will be held at 10AM, Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Duncan Cemetery in Duncan, OK at 3PM.
