Obituary for Claeburn H. Tipton

Tipton, Claeburn Hoyt, 72, of Harrah, OK died April 12, 2017 in Oklahoma City after a month-long heroic battle for life. He was born in Antioch, CA to Marland Tipton and Naomi Nell Estes. He retired a civilian employee from Tinker AFB in 1995. He enjoyed life in the outdoors hunting and fishing, as well as tinkering with all types of machines and automobiles. He always had a special place in his heart for helping with youth activities and functions promoting educational opportunities. He is survived by his special life-long soulmate Carol Manalo of Midwest City, his son and daughter-in-law Randall Clay Tipton and Julie Gayanich of Edmond, OK, his son Richard M. Tipton of The Village, OK, and daughter and son-in-law, Renessa and Darren Williams of Mustang, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Roy Tipton. He is survived by brother and sister-in-law William Sanford and Lois Tipton of Oklahoma City, sister Nell Rose Bessman of Oklahoma City, and many dear cousins, nephews, and nieces. He will be greatly missed by numerous friends and neighbors, especially his grandkids, Logan, Gavin, Ashlyn, and Gavin. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home at 1820 S. Douglas Blvd. in Midwest City, OK. A reception lunch at the funeral home will follow.
