Obituary for Clarence Ray McBride

McBride, Clarence Ray, 76, of Midwest City, Oklahoma, went to his heavenly home December 31, 2017. He was born to Clarence and Lola McBride, January 1st, 1941. During his early years, he traveled around the country with his parents, while his father served in the U.S. Navy. He graduated from Midwest City High School in 1959. Ray earned an Economics Degree from the University of Central Oklahoma. He worked for the IRS for 40 years. He served in Children’s and Bus ministries at Sooner Baptist Church. He was a member of Meadowood Baptist Church for 43 years, where he taught Sunday School, served as a deacon, a counselor in Master’s Market and was a faithful member of the prayer ministry. He was also a member and children’s teacher in Bible Study Fellowship. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Clarence and Lola McBride. He is survived by his wife, Deeda McBride, children Penny Corbin and husband Patrick, Holly McBride, Neil McBride and wife, Jill. Grandchildren: Zac and Becca Buckner, Blaire Ring, Brooke Ring, Alex McBride, Baylee Ring, Claire Corbin and Jackson Corbin and one great grandchild, Ace Johnston. He is also survived by his sister, Cindy Holman and her husband, Roger, nephews, Josh and Jeremy Holman, along with a host of cousins, extended family and countless friends.
Funeral services will be at Meadowood Baptist Church Wednesday, January 3 at 10:00 a.m.
