Obituary for Dora Mae Lockhart

Dora M. Lockhart, 92, of Midwest City, OK went to be with her Lord on November 4, 2017. She was born in Pershing, OK on August 22, 1925 to C.F. and Eva Long.

Dora was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Lockhart; her parents; brother, Don Long; daughter, Gayle Ann (Cherry) Dickens.

Dora is survived by her brother, Fred Long and wife Judy of Beeville, TX; daughter, Candy and husband Barry Wilson of Stone Bluff, OK; son, John Lockhart of OKC; 5 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.

She was a graduate of Moore High School where she was a majorette. She worked for Phillips 66 through Tinker Field until she retired. Dora was involved in the children’s church ministry for years and produced a Kids R Us TV production. She also helped start the Widows Sisters group. She loved teaching Bible study and giving to others.

Funeral services will be held at Grace Church, 100 S. Choctaw Rd, Choctaw, OK on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery.

Dora will be missed by all, family, the kids and many more.
