Obituary for Floyd Pierce

Floyd passed away suddenly on Monday, June 25, 2018 at the age of 71. Floyd was born in Oklahoma City, December 18, 1946 to Luther and Lorine Pierce. He was raised in Oklahoma City, graduating from Capital Hill High School in 1965. Floyd worked in sales at Macklanburg-Duncan for 52 years retiring in June 2017. Floyd was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved spending time with his family and friends. Floyd is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Sue Robinett-Pierce; his mother, Lorine Pierce; and brother, Johnny Pierce. Floyd is also survived by his children, Todd Pierce of Oklahoma City, Stephanie Erickson and husband Kevin of Yukon, Brent Pierce and wife Rachael of Edmond, Aaron Robinett and wife Tina of Seguin, TX, and Danielle White and husband Kevin of San Antonio, TX. Floyd is also survived by seven grandchildren, Natasha Ball, Heather Chenoweth, Baylee White, Taylor White, Cole White, Allison Pierce and Chloe Pierce; and four great grandchildren, Kierstyn Brooks, Braxtyn Chenoweth, Talan Chenoweth and Henry Ball. He was preceded in death by his father, Luther Pierce.

Visitation will be at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home, 1820 South Douglas Blvd., Midwest City, OK 73130, Thursday, 8 AM to 8 PM with family to receive visitors from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Friday, June 29, 2018, at Meadowood Baptist Church, 2816 N. Woodcrest Drive, Midwest City, OK 73110.
