Obituary for Louise Parker

Anna Louise Parker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed into eternity April 4, 2017, after a long illness. She was kind, funny, friendly, smart, a great listener, and an excellent cook. She enjoyed shopping, going to church, watching movies, and staying up-to-date with current events. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and her friends. She made all the holidays special for those she loved. She will be dearly missed and forever loved by all who knew her. She was born Anna Louise Peercy in Sasakwa, Oklahoma, August 11, 1935. She graduated from Holdenville High School in 1953 and married Frank D. Parker May 19, 1953. They moved to their home in Oklahoma City in 1958, and she died peacefully there just as she wanted. Frank and Louise were married 49 years until his death in 2002. Louise worked at Tinker for 35 years, retiring in 1990. She leaves behind her daughters Deanne Upchurch (Steve); and Darlene Johnson (David); grandchildren Candace Keefe, Eric Upchurch, Stephanie Terry, Neely Johnson, Christian Johnson, Riley Upchurch, and great-grandson Edward Terry. She also leaves her sisters and brothers-in-law, Orville and Bobbie Rose and Jim and Eudena Brewer of Holdenville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Neely Peercy; grandson Ian Upchurch; and brother, David Peercy. Services are at Choctaw Church of Christ 2 pm Thursday, with interment at Elmwood Cemetery in Choctaw. “Well done, good and faithful servant! Come and share your master’s happiness!”
