Obituary for Myrtle Dimick

Myrtle Fern (Chambers) Dimick was born May 17, 1929 in Oilton, OK. She married Ottis Dimick Nov 5, 1947. She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, her mother Nellie Anson of Bremerton, WA, step father Marion Anson of Bremerton, WA, father Warren Chambers of Oilton, OK, and brother Don Chambers of Bremerton, WA. She is survived by her son Jim Dimick of Midwest City, OK, sisters Donna Shuey of Gig Harbor, WA, Colleen Day of Enid, OK, Nora Christiansen of Poulsbo, WA, and her brother Ben Anson of Bremerton, WA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She worked as a test examiner for the office of personnel management for a number of years. She was a 70 year cancer survivor. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was old enough to have received credits for studying the Bible in high school. Mom was also a member of Al Anon for 53 years. She attended Draper Park Christian Church for 53 years. Funeral services will be held on October 2, 2017 at 2:00pm at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Arlington Memory Gardens.
