Obituary for Paul "LeRoy" Nitzel

Paul LeRoy Nitzel, 82, of Oklahoma City was called home on March 28, 2018.

LeRoy was born September 9, 1935 to George Nitzel & Bertha Walley. He was the youngest of 10 siblings. LeRoy dedicated his life to his family and the church. He served, worked, and assisted in 33 mission trips all over Central and South America. He loved reminiscing on those times during his last months while spending time with his loved ones.

LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents and siblings; his wife, Edna Nitzel and son, Mark Cox.

LeRoy is survived by his children, Mike Nitzel and Perry Nitzel, Vickie Nitzel-Wherry, Sherri Linton and husband, David, Karen Mulanax and husband, Rick; grandchildren, Jason Mulanax and wife, Erin, Jimmy Cox and wife, Kayla, Kayla Allen, Mary Mulanax, Tyler Phipps and wife, Denae, Allen Cox and wife, Amanda, and Matthew Mulanax; great-grandchildren, Haylie and Harlee Allen, Wrynlee and Isaac Cox, and Samuel Mulanax.

Viewing will be 8AM-8PM Saturday and Sunday with formal visitation on Sunday from 6PM-8PM. A funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Monday, April 2, 2018 at Unified Vision Center, 2323 SW 44th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73119. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Oklahoma City, OK.
