Obituary for Sharon Anita McAlister

Sharon Anita McAlister passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the age of 67.

Sharon was born on March 13, 1951 to Roy and Ada Gleason in Oklahoma City, OK. She married Charles D. McAlister on July 13, 1979.

Sharon was a retired dental hygienist. She was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother and friend, always thinking of others first. She enjoyed spending weekends at Lake Eufaula, trips in the motor home with her grandkids and antique shopping.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Charles McAlister of the home; son, Chad McAlister of Bixby, OK; daughters, Martie Lilly and husband Kevin of Moore, OK and Carrie Lowe and husband Steve of Blanchard, OK; sister, Patsy Hale of Choctaw, OK and eight grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Madison McAlister.

Viewing will take place Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home in Midwest City, OK.

Funeral Services are planned for 10:00 AM, Monday, April 16, 2018 at Nicoma Park Baptist Church in Nicoma Park, OK. Interment will follow at Jones I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Jones, OK.
