Obituary for Lisa Diann Bryan

Lisa "Mall" D. Bryan, age 47, went home to be with her Lord on May 9, 2019. Lisa was born on June 2, 1971 to Sandra Thompson and Gordon George in Oklahoma City.

Early on, Lisa developed a love for performing. She excelled at dancing and cheerleading, eventually rising to head cheerleader and leading her team to a national title. As an adult, Lisa transitioned her skills into coaching her oldest daughter, Paige, in pageants as well as competitive cheerleading. Lisa's favorite bonding experience with her oldest son, Tanner, was to use their common sense of humor to rename people's dogs with a new, human name that they deemed more fitting. Oftentimes, Lisa could be found, phone in hand, showing off pictures of and boasting about her youngest daughter, Halle or cruising the streets of Bricktown on motorized scooters with her youngest son, Jerry Wayne. Lisa had no shortage of pride or love when it came to her kids and grandkids. Aside from being heavily involved with her family, Lisa loved to spend her free time at the salon getting her nails "bedazzled." She also enjoyed browsing local thrift stores for rare finds, watching "I Love Lucy" reruns, and getting into mischief with her grandbabies. Lisa worked at The Renaissance Hotel, where she earned "Employee Of The Year". Lisa had a magnetic personality, and was drawn to everyone, especially kids. Everywhere she went she would find a friend (or family), and was always the life of the party.

Lisa professed her unwavering faith to God and became an active member at the The Light of God Church. She loved leading services and lifting her voice up to give praise to the Lord.

Her influence, love, and uplifting spirit will forever remain inside of all those who knew her.

Lisa is preceded in death by her big brother, Jesse George.

Lisa leaves behind her mother and father; Sandra Thompson and Gordon George, father figure; Roger Wooten, her siblings; Veronica Ward, Rusty Wooten, Jerry Thompson, Steven Thompson, Hugh Millsap, Gordon Lee George, Travis and Terra Johnson, Staci and Deanna Tubby, her children; Paige St. Clair, Tanner Brunkhurst, Halle Bryan, and Jerry Bryan, her grandchildren; Pressley St. Clair, Anistyn St. Clair, Bristol St. Clair, Riann St. Clair, Paisley Parker, and so many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate Lisa's life at noon, Saturday, May 18, 2019 at The Light of God Church at 632 SE 27th St. Oklahoma City, OK 73129.
