Obituary for Robert Dwain Timmons

Timmy was born on May 28th, 1947, in Oklahoma City. He was the son of Dwain and Barbara Timmons: Timmy is Survived by his brother Randy and sister in law Debi Timmons of Glenpool, Oklahoma. His niece Matisa Dragoo and husband Rick of Plano Texas. His nephew Ty Timmons and wife Lee of Bixby, Oklahoma. Timmy was great uncle to Gavin, Chloe, and Jacob Dragoo of Plano; Cooper, Sydney, and Kennedy (Kru) Timmons of Bixby.
Timmy is also survived by his aunt Martha Wedekind, and by his Cousins Barbara Blair and husband Chuck and their children Brandt and wife Stashia Blair, and Jennifer Thomasian, all of Oklahoma City.
Timmy and his brother Randy enjoyed a spiritually filled life. Timmy dedicated his life to serve Jehovah God in February of 1963 along with his brother Randy.
The family enjoyed many fun filled trips to Conventions, Assemblies, and working unassigned territories with friends from the Midwest City Congregation. When Timmy was 14, a highlight of his life was a month long European tour of District Conventions in Denmark, Germany, and France.
The family home on Mockingbird Lane was the hang out place for their friends and holds many fond memories.
Later in life, Timmy moved to Ann Arbor Michigan, and enjoyed his career working for Consolidated Grocery Wholesale. In 2007 Timmy moved back to Midwest City to help care for his parents Dwain and Barbara.
Timmy picked up where it all started at the Midwest City Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and became an active part in this loving congregation.
Timmy's love for studying Jehovah's Word the Bible was evident by "HIS CHAIR" that was always surrounded by his open Bible and other literature and notes, that he was researching.
On May 25th, 2019, Timmy died in his sleep at the family home on Mockingbird Lane, just three days short of his 72nd birthday.
We eagerly await the day that we are re-united with Timmy, far away from the struggles and pain that took him from us.
